III. Target Behaviors for Autistic Adults
Course III in the seven-course series, ETHICS & PRACTICE OF SELF-MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS FOR AUTISTIC ADULTS.
Course III, Target Behaviors for Autistic Adults, goes beyond the basics of target behaviors, with which BCBAs are already familiar, to focus on the unique characteristics of target behaviors with autistic adult clients. It covers:
- Selecting/Defining a Behavior to Increase with the Autistic Adult,
- Selecting/Defining a Behavior to Decrease with the Autistic Adult, and
- Identifying Competing Variables with Autistic Adult Clients.
Due to confidentiality, no actual persons are described, but each sample case study is presented as an amalgam or composite of actual characteristics and typical problems presented and solved.
This course offers 3 BCBA CEU. While the course does stand alone, it is recommended that it be purchased as part of the ETHICS & PRACTICE OF SELF-MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS FOR AUTISTIC ADULTS seven course series bundle.
