Course IV in the seven-course series ETHICS & PRACTICE OF SELF-MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS FOR AUTISTIC ADULTS
Course IV, Self-Management Strategies for Autistic Adults: Part A, goes beyond the basics of self-management strategies which BCBAs develop for clients, to focus on the unique characteristics of strategies designed specifically for autistic adult clients. It covers:
- Goal Setting with Autistic Adults.
- Self-Monitoring for Autistic Adults,
- Behavioral Contracts with Autistic Adults, and
- Social Support and Autistic Adults.
Due to confidentiality, no actual persons are described, but each sample case study is presented as an amalgam or composite of actual characteristics and typical problems presented and solved.
